Tour guide launch

Sound familiar? Well that should be a thing of the past for all of us thanks to the launch of a new Travel Guide designed solely with The Tartan Army in mind.
Full of vital information that even the most battle scarred veteran foot soldier will find invaluable. The book even includes places of interest that you can visit in a sober moment or when the other half insists on doing something other than drinking.
Complete with detailed Maps and simple directions to each of the Stadiums you can still have a few beers but be sure that you know where you are going.

Using the Guide you can also be sure that you are drinking in the right bars. Some of The Bars (see Golden Gates in Ukraine) have guaranteed The Tartan Army that they will not to hike up their prices for our visit. Where else can you get that information?
The book is the brainchild of Tartan Army Publications Ltd and FTAM first came across this book at the Aviemore Highland Games in July. We asked what had inspired this idea.

“Surprisingly the idea for this book came from a Rugby Travel Guide” said Peter Laing of the Publishers. “As I was reading it I thought that a similar guide exclusively for The Tartan Army was long overdue."

I know that we think a lot is available on Web but often it's time consuming to find, it's not objective, and it is often outdated.

Every bar, restaurant, and hotel has been visited by the author Mark Porter and the reviews are his personal experience. Having written countless Travel Guides over the years he knows what he's talking about when it comes to Drinking, Eating, and Sleeping.

All of this was researched in each Country during March, April and May this year so it's bang up to date and has been written with the supporters needs in mind”
